According to the Japanese government, U.S. President Donald Trump held a 15-minute call with Japan’s Prime Minister Takayaki Koichi on Friday (May 15) following his visit to China. Both leaders reaffirmed the strength of the bilateral alliance and agreed to continue communications on key issues, including developments in the Indo-Pacific region, Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
