Trump Confirms Government Studying Plan for Americans to Hold AI Company Shares

According to NOTUS, on Friday (June 6), U.S. President Trump confirmed his team is studying a concept to allow Americans to hold shares in artificial intelligence companies. Trump stated the group would meet with AI industry leaders as soon as next week to discuss the proposal. "It's a very interesting idea, almost like making it a partnership with the American people," Trump said on Air Force One. No specific companies were named, though the largest U.S. AI firms include Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, SpaceX, and Anthropic, with the latter two expected to go public in coming weeks.
