Trump's Q1 2026 Nvidia Holdings Draw Ethics Challenge From Warren

GateNews

According to Office of Government Ethics disclosures released this week, President Trump’s investment accounts held Nvidia securities and other major U.S. company stocks valued between $220 million and $750 million during Q1 2026. The filings showed over 3,600 transactions but did not disclose exact purchase prices or dates.

Senator Elizabeth Warren criticized Trump for reported Nvidia exposure coinciding with a China trip involving discussions on AI chip sales, calling it a “national security disaster.” Eric Trump responded that family assets are held in blind trusts managed by financial institutions through broad market indexes, such as the Schwab 1000, which can passively include Nvidia alongside many other companies.
