On Thursday (July 23), UK 10-year gilt yields rose 6.9 basis points to 5.104%, with 2-year yields climbing 6.8 basis points to 4.490%. Both contracts accelerated higher as of late European session, with 10-year yields reaching 5.122% by 23:32 UTC and 2-year yields hitting a daily high of 4.507% at the same time. Longer-dated contracts also gained, with 30-year yields up 5.1 basis points and 50-year yields advancing 3.3 basis points.
