UK Gilt Yields Fall Sharply, 10-Year Drops 3.7bp to 4.995% on Monday

On Monday, July 27, UK gilt yields declined broadly in late European trading. The 10-year gilt yield fell 3.7 basis points to 4.995%, while the 2-year yield dropped 3.0bp to 4.380%. The 30-year and 50-year yields declined 3.3bp and 2.6bp respectively. The 2/10-year yield spread narrowed 0.504bp to plus 61.385bp.
