UK Government Borrowing Costs Fall 27.5 Basis Points This Week

On Friday (May 22), UK government borrowing costs declined significantly this week, with the 10-year gilt yield falling 27.5 basis points to 4.896%, and the 2-year gilt yield dropping 22.1 basis points to 4.331%. The 30-year gilt yield also declined 28.2 basis points to 5.567%, while the 50-year yield fell 24.6 basis points to 5.114% this week.
