UN Warns of Escalating Lebanon Humanitarian Crisis on June 3 as Israeli Evacuation Orders Displace 200K

According to UN spokesperson Dujarric on June 3, Lebanon's internal displacement has accelerated due to intensifying Israel-Hezbollah border clashes. In Beirut's southern suburbs alone, approximately 200,000 people were forced to flee their homes following Israeli evacuation orders.

Refugee camps are severely overcrowded, with humanitarian conditions deteriorating. The conflict has also caused significant damage to local medical infrastructure, leaving healthcare workers unable to ensure their safety.
