Unimicron Seeks Up to $1.4B in Global Depositary Share Offering at $26.96-$27.76 Each

According to Bloomberg, Unimicron Technology Corp., a Taiwan-based chip substrate and printed circuit board supplier, is seeking up to $1.4 billion through a sale of 50 million global depositary shares priced at $26.96 to $27.76 each, as of July 6. The price range represents a 3% to 6% discount to Unimicron's Taipei closing price of NT$917 (US$28.60) on the same day. The company plans to use the proceeds to purchase raw materials in foreign currencies.
