Upbit and Bithumb, South Korea's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced support for Metaplex (MPLX) and Nexus (NEX) on their spot trading platforms on July 3, 2026. Upbit postponed the trading start times for both assets to 7:00 PM, shifting MPLX from 3:00 PM and NEX from 6:00 PM. MPLX will trade against BTC and USDT on the Solana network, while NEX will trade against USDT on Ethereum. Deposits and withdrawals are set to open within two hours.

Both exchanges implemented trading restrictions upon listing. Upbit restricted buy orders for approximately 5 minutes after trading opens and capped sell orders at no more than 10% below the previous day's closing price. All order types except limit orders will be temporarily restricted for the first two hours. The exchange noted that trading start times may be postponed further if liquidity proves insufficient. Bithumb also listed both assets on its KRW market with reference prices of 32.09 won for MPLX and 0.0028 won for NEX.
