GateNews

According to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, on May 1, surveillance video released on X showed that suspect Cole Allen shot a Secret Service official during an attempted assassination at a White House Correspondent’s Dinner. The footage also displayed Allen conducting reconnaissance at the Hilton Washington hotel the day before the incident. Pirro explicitly denied the shooting was friendly fire. Secret Service Director Sean Curran confirmed that five shots fired by agents did not hit Allen; he was subdued after tripping over a metal detector box at a security checkpoint.
