U.S. Defense Secretary Reiterates Warning: Military Will Strike Iran If No Deal Reached

According to CNN, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Wednesday, June 11, that if Iran refuses to reach an agreement to end the U.S.-Iran conflict, American military forces will launch a severe strike against Iran. Speaking to U.S. Central Command personnel in Tampa, Florida, Austin stated: "We are fully focused on the outcome the president wants to achieve for the American people, and we have made significant progress. As the president said today, if they are not willing to make a deal, then we will hit them hard."
