U.S. Disputes Iran's Hormuz Strait Closure Claim; Commercial Ships Continue Transit on June 10

According to U.S. Central Command, on June 10, the U.S. military disputed Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claim that the Strait of Hormuz had closed, stating that commercial ships continued to transit the waterway.

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy declared on June 11 that the Strait of Hormuz was closed until further notice, citing repeated U.S. violations of ceasefire agreements.
