U.S. Dollar Index Rises to 101.058 on July 6, Dollar-Yen Surges 0.737%

According to Yonhapinfomax, the U.S. dollar index (DXY) rose to 101.058 on July 6 morning (EDT), up 0.210 points (0.108%) from July 2's close of 100.880. The dollar-yen exchange rate jumped 1.197 yen (0.737%) to 162.313 yen, as the yen remained under weakness pressure amid Japanese fiscal policy concerns. Euro-dollar fell 0.142% to 1.14145, while pound-dollar declined 0.029% to 1.33417.
