According to Jin10, the U.S. House rejected a Democratic-led resolution today (May 15) to limit President Trump’s war powers against Iran with a tied vote of 212-212. This marks the third House vote on Iran war powers this year, with the voting margin continuing to narrow; the previous vote was 213-214.
On Wednesday, the Senate also faced a close vote, blocking a war powers resolution 50-49, with three Republican senators voting alongside all but one Democrat to advance the measure.
