U.S. Money Market Funds Assets Decline by $175.81 Billion to $7.64 Trillion

Gate News message, April 17 — The Investment Company Institute (ICI) reported on April 16 that U.S. money market fund assets fell by $175.81 billion during the week ending April 15, declining to $7.64 trillion.

Within taxable money market funds, government funds decreased by $154.88 billion and prime funds declined by $16.7 billion. Tax-exempt money market funds fell by $4.24 billion.
