U.S. Navy Confirms MQ-25A Stingray Drone First Deployed on USS Nimitz on June 29

According to TheWarZone, the U.S. Navy confirmed that the MQ-25A Stingray unmanned refueling drone was first deployed aboard USS Nimitz on June 29, with the platform designated as the T-1 prototype model. The drone can carry up to 15,000 pounds of fuel to extend the operational range of carrier-based aircraft. The U.S. Navy aims to deploy production-variant MQ-25A systems operationally in 2027.
