According to Bespoke Investment Group, U.S. GDP grew 2.0% in Q1 2026, with software and IT equipment investment contributing 134 basis points, or 67% of total growth—a record high. The five-quarter moving average of software and IT investment has surged significantly, exceeding the previous peak from 1999 by approximately 10 basis points.
