U.S. Treasury Futures: Speculators Increase Short Positions Across All Maturities Week Ending June 2

According to CFTC data, as of the week ending June 2, speculators increased net short positions across U.S. Treasury futures. Net shorts in 10-year Treasury futures rose 41,621 contracts to 829,575, while 2-year futures climbed 94,942 contracts to 1,350,188.

5-year Treasury futures net shorts advanced 46,091 contracts to 1,369,218, and ultra-long Treasury futures added 27,868 contracts to 287,710.
