VanEck Predicts Bitcoin to Surpass $126K ATH by Q1 2028

BTC-3.33%
According to Matthew Sigel, VanEck's head of digital assets research, Bitcoin will surpass its all-time high of $126,080 by the first quarter of 2028. Speaking on The Wolf of All Streets podcast on July 5, Sigel said he expects BTC to be "materially higher" in a year but cautioned that the market needs fresh catalysts before enthusiasm returns. He advised investors to gradually build Bitcoin positions through October 2026 and cited growing sovereign adoption, with approximately 22 countries now mining or holding Bitcoin, as evidence of long-term fundamentals.
