Venezuela Reports 3 Hantavirus Deaths in Anzoategui State on July 21

According to Venezuela's Health Ministry on July 21, three patients in the northeastern state of Anzoategui died from hantavirus infection. The ministry stated that hantavirus spreads primarily through rodents, and there is currently no scientific evidence of human-to-human transmission of the virus in Venezuela.
