Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Bank of America posted record second-quarter revenues from underwriting in Q2 2026, with Goldman and JPMorgan shares reaching all-time highs. Goldman's investment banking backlog reached its highest level in five years and second-highest on record. "The pipeline is quite robust and the high-profile nature of this quarter's activity is driving more activity," said JPMorgan CFO Jeremy Barnum.
