According to Hyperinsight monitoring, a whale tracking semiconductor holdings liquidated 8 tech stock long positions on July 17, realizing losses of approximately $9.81 million on $17.87 million in notional liquidations. The positions primarily consisted of semiconductor and storage plays, including Marvell, SanDisk, SK Hynix, Micron, Nebius, and others.

Since the liquidation date, 6 of the 8 holdings have recovered, with AI compute-focused Nebius leading gains at 16.0%, followed by Marvell at 13.0% and Cirrus Logic at 12.0%. Had the whale held positions through today, unrealized losses would have improved by approximately $1.63 million (17% reduction), though all holdings remain significantly below the whale's original entry prices.
