Woori Bank Designated as Custodian for South Korea's 931 Trillion Won Pension Assets on July 14

According to the National Pension Service, on July 14, Woori Bank was designated as the foreign exchange custodian bank for the National Pension Fund's 931 trillion won in overseas assets, representing approximately 56% of the fund's total accumulated assets.

The three-year contract will begin on August 1 and can be extended by up to two years through annual evaluations. Woori Bank will handle foreign exchange settlement and management of foreign currency accounts for the pension fund's overseas investments.
