Yonhap News Agency: Samsung's non-chip division union applies to halt the salary vote

BlockBeats News, May 25 — According to South Korea's Yonhap News Agency, the union related to Samsung Electronics' non-chip business division has filed for a temporary injunction in court, demanding a halt to the ongoing salary agreement vote. Previously, Samsung Electronics and the union reached a preliminary salary agreement and suspended the planned strike, but the special performance bonus arrangement for the semiconductor division has caused dissatisfaction among employees in the non-chip division. The related vote was originally scheduled to take place from May 22 to 27, with the final results still pending announcement.

Will the court approve this injunction? It feels uncertain.
