$ZEC Breaks $500! Ironwood Upgrade Scheduled — Is the Privacy Sector Reigniting?

Guys, ZEC broke through the $500 mark today.
News Side:
Zcash core developer Sean Bowe confirmed that the Ironwood upgrade is scheduled to activate at block height 3,428,143 on July 28 at 8 PM. This upgrade is to fix the "infinite minting" vulnerability in the Orchard pool — attackers could forge ZEC indefinitely without being detected. The upgrade will introduce a new privacy pool and gradually phase out the old pool, while adding a mechanism to verify supply.
The market is already pricing it in — ZEC futures open interest rose 18% in 24 hours, funding rates turned positive, and longs are adding.
Technical Side:
Currently RSI 83.19 — severely overbought
Upper resistance: 505-510, break above targets 520-530
Lower support: 490-497, losing that sees 480-475
Gongming's View:
The upgrade is a medium-term narrative, but short-term RSI overbought + a short resistance zone at 503-506 make chasing risky.
Trading Strategy:
Conservative — wait for a pullback to 490-495 to go long. Aggressive — enter long near 500.
There are still 18 days before the positive event; don't chase highs in the overbought zone — waiting for a pullback is a good habit.
