The White House confirms that Trump has “emptied” the U.S. election aid commission
BlockBeats news: On July 11, the White House confirmed on the 10th that U.S. President Donald Trump has removed two sitting members of the United States Election Assistance Commission.
In a statement sent to the media on the 10th, the White House said that the president “reserves the right to remove relevant personnel, who may not be fully committed to safeguarding U.S. election security and ensuring that every legal ballot is counted.” The White House statement did not give specific reasons for Trump’s move.
