When the screen is filled with green candles, it’s easiest for people to get tempted to chase and open positions, but this time I specifically waited a bit. In the early session, just as the market got dumped, $ETH rebounded but didn’t have any solid follow-through—every time price tried to rise, it was pushed back down by sell pressure. What I saw was heavy resistance at higher levels, not a strong reversal. So I posted a short entry around 2111.63.
This wait wasn’t in vain. The current price is already at 1881.15, and the return rate is +1901.67%. I nailed the timing on this move. The earlier part was messy and slow, but once I finally got out, it was truly worth it.
First, close 80% of the position. Keep the remaining 20% to continue observing, and move the protective level closer to the cost basis. If there’s still room for further downside, let the tail position run with it; if the rebound speeds up, first secure the portion already realized.
The market is about waiting for it to line up, and profit is made by holding it through. Better to miss a stretch than to add more and more to the position when you’re carried away by emotions.
Friends who haven’t joined yet, don’t rush to add tickets. This level isn’t suitable for blindly chasing. Wait for the next shot—move only after the new structure is clear. The market doesn’t lack opportunities; what it lacks is patience.
