​Examples: Bitcoin (BTC) on the Bitcoin blockchain, Ether (ETH) on the Ethereum blockchain.
​Token: Rides on someone else's blockchain. They are created on top of an existing coin's network.
​Examples: Tether (USDT) or meme coins that run on the Ethereum net

Today trading WLDUSDT on Gate.io Futures really tested my mental.
Opened a position at 0.4831—within 40 minutes it was up +69% 🔥 I was already hoping to reach 0.6, but because I was greedy and didn’t take profit (TP), my SL was eventually hit at 0.48. Even worse, the HUSDT position also got liquidated on isolated margin.
