Ethereum is likely to trade sideways today. There was a sharp upward move last night, but it still hasn't effectively broken through the strong resistance at 1580.

Bitcoin, tonight's trading approach: wait for consolidation. After consolidation, if it breaks below 59250$BTC ‌this support, then directly look at the previous low going to 58,000; if it can break upward, it will break 60k, high probability going to around 61,000.

Bitcoin was seen hitting 60699, which just reached the stop-profit high of 60720. The stop-profit level was set nicely. Currently, due to options expiration, it's unclear whether this decline is a fakeout or a real drop. If it drops, it might not fall far and could bounce back up. $BTC ‌

If this big move breaks through the consolidation, it will likely go to around 60,800. You can gauge by the volume; if it increases, the 60,800 area is strong resistance. If it can't break through and volume shrinks, you can consider shorting. There should be movement around 4 PM because the Bitcoin options expiration is at 71,000 $BTC ‌

Today, BTC is very likely to start consolidating/sideways trading. For ETH, if you’re friends trading the swings, don’t look too far ahead—if you can exit, exit; if you have profit, run. As for ETH’s price action today: it’s to short at the highs. The ultra-short-term trend is bearish. However, BTC is very likely to move up, so the idea of being bearish on ETH doesn’t quite hold—unless, after BTC consolidates, it drops/crashes. $ETH ‌
