it lets him create unlimited, untraceable fake $ZEC inside the shielded pool (basically infinite minting/double-spending that no one could see or prove).
even though the team fixed it up really fast and clean the FUD is now centered on trust or the now lack of trust for privacy coins in general.
trust is broken forever & it’s been down only $600+ ever since
