16 to 8: take 50%
From 8 to 4: 4 to 2: 2 to 1: 1 to 0.5: 0.5 to 0.25: 0.25 to 0.1: 0.1 to 0.05, and so on. Keep eating countless 50% moves, with 20x leverage—each time it’s effectively 10x. That way, going all the way down, it doesn’t end up costing them much less than a pump-and-dump, and they can also keep having inventory appear along the way.
