CoinWorld News reports that on the 24th at local time, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Garibabadi led a diplomatic and legal delegation on a visit to Oman and met with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr. During the meeting, Garibabadi conveyed a message from Iranian Foreign Minister Al Aragzi to Badr, covering matters related to Iran-U.S. negotiations currently being mediated through Pakistan. The message also noted that both countries attach importance to restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in a secure and sustainable manner. After the meeting, Oman and the Iranian delegations held an expanded session to discuss a series of principles, in accordance with international law, for maintaining freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The two sides exchanged views on the latest current situation and discussed how to build and develop relevant capabilities to ensure the safety of maritime transport, trade, and supply chain transportation.
