U.S. stocks close lower, Nasdaq down 1.5%, AMD plunges 17%

ChainCatcher News, according to Gate Market Data, U.S. stocks closed on Wednesday with the Dow initially up 0.5%, the Nasdaq down 1.5%, and the S&P 500 down 0.5%. AMD fell 17.3%, Tesla dropped nearly 4%, Nvidia declined over 3%, Micron Technology fell nearly 10%, and Apple rose over 2%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed down nearly 2%, and Alibaba dropped nearly 3%.
