ChainCatcher News: AI giant Anthropic announced this morning that it has completed a $30 billion funding round at a valuation of $380 billion. Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and Coatue Management led the round, with other investors including Nvidia and Microsoft.
Elon Musk, however, angrily criticized Anthropic in his statement, claiming it “hates white people and Asians, especially Chinese people, heterosexuals, and men. This is a nihilistic and evil behavior that must be corrected.” Musk stated, “Anthropic’s ‘humanism’ is inevitably evolving into ‘nihilism,’ which is an unavoidable irony. When you chose this name, you were already doomed to this fate.”
