Gate News Report, March 15 — According to Caixin, the 2026 FIFA World Cup scheduled to start in June may become the “most AI-intensive” World Cup ever. Industry insiders expect that during the tournament, the global daily token (word unit) consumption could reach approximately 535 trillion, with about 16 trillion tokens related to the World Cup. In comparison, the global token consumption earlier this year was around 200 trillion per day.
