Clearstream, DTCC, and Euroclear release digital asset securities interoperability framework to promote unified standards in the DLT market

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Clearstream, DTCC, and Euroclear have jointly released a new industry report with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), proposing a digital asset securities market interoperability framework. The goal is to promote connectivity between distributed ledger technology (DLT) markets and ensure smooth transfer of digital securities across different platforms and infrastructures. The framework identifies five core elements necessary for cross-network operation of digital asset securities, including asset and liability representation standards, ownership recognition mechanisms, asset lifecycle and transfer protocols, ledger structure coordination, and legal and regulatory compliance. The authors believe that unifying these key elements will help maintain consistent ownership records, operational processes, and compliance standards across different distributed ledger infrastructures.
