BlockBeats message, March 28, today Feishu open-sourced its CLI (command-line interface), marking a shift in the software usage paradigm in the age of AI agents. It turns Feishu, an office software with a complex GUI (graphical user interface), into a set of tools that AI can directly control via the command line.
As a result, AI agents—including Claude Code—can freely access Feishu. Analysis suggests that the significance of this open-sourcing is no less than OpenClaw integrating with Feishu, indicating that in the future, software may need to have a “dual form”: a GUI for ordinary users, and a CLI for developers and AI agents. The focus of software interaction design is shifting from “designed for human visual use” to “designed for AI calls.”
