Israeli Military to Maintain Presence in Southern Lebanon During Ceasefire

Gate News message, April 20 — The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on April 20 that it will continue its military presence in southern Lebanon during the ceasefire period to counter Hezbollah activities. The IDF warned residents in the region not to move south across designated routes or approach the Litani River and surrounding areas until further notice.

According to reports, the IDF plans to establish 20 military outposts in southern Lebanon.
