The Bhutanese government transferred 175 Bitcoins last night, worth approximately $11.85 million.

Gate News Report, March 10 — According to Arkham data, around 19:56 Beijing time on March 9, the Bhutan government transferred 175 Bitcoin, worth approximately $11.85 million. This is the latest move following last month’s transfer of $6.8 million, bringing the country’s total Bitcoin transfers since 2026 to about $42.5 million. The Bhutan government currently holds approximately 5,400 Bitcoin, valued at around $374 million, managed by the sovereign wealth fund Druk Holding & Investments. Arkham notes that Bhutan regularly sells Bitcoin in amounts ranging from $5 million to $10 million. Compared to the transfer of over $60 million in four days in July last year, the recent transfers are smaller. At that time, Bhutan held over 11,000 Bitcoin, worth $1.4 billion, accounting for more than 40% of the country’s GDP.
