Gate News message, April 14 — XRP Ledger (XRPL) has integrated with Boundless, a zero-knowledge infrastructure provider, to enable banks and asset managers to conduct confidential yet compliant transactions directly on the network, according to CoinDesk.

The integration introduces zero-knowledge (ZK) proof verification capabilities, allowing financial institutions to process transactions without disclosing transaction details on the public blockchain. With this feature, the validity, proper funding, and compliance of a payment can be verified without publicly revealing the amount, sender, or recipient.

Zero-knowledge proofs enable one party to prove a statement is true without disclosing the underlying data. On XRPL, this means transaction validity or fund existence can be confirmed while keeping certain amounts or participants hidden. The feature is designed to help institutions meet regulatory requirements while enhancing privacy.
