I haven't really used Gate Finance much. If I don't understand something, I ask!
Is this USDE 149% annualized return fake, or is there some kind of trap?

Morning GRVT Email Notice: 11% Annualized Rate Modified!
Specific Changes: Additional annualized returns now require trading volume. To obtain the previously ~11% annualized rate, you now need a 5M trading volume.
For those who are investment-focused, this makes the cost-effectiveness very low.
For this reason, group members started withdrawing coins early, though currently withdrawals seem to be experiencing some strain.
General situation is as follows:
1/ Large Withdrawals: Showing maintenance on multiple chains or extremely long withdrawal times on Ethereum.
2/ Small Withdrawals: BSC mainte

BTC has dropped to 68,000 again.
On Polymarket, the probability of returning to 100,000 this year is 38%, and the probability of breaking below 40,000 is 39%.
The number of deep bears is almost equal to those betting on a bull comeback.
Maybe this is what the market truly looks like: full of uncertainty, accompanied by emotional swings.
A few days ago it surged past 75,000, and some said this time is different.
But I actually hope it won't be "different."
Because the large orders in my plan haven't been filled yet, and the bullets in my hand haven't really been fired.
Everything is still withi

It seems pretty quiet today~
So let me share my personal multi-browser setup and Sybil-resistance methods!

Highly recommend Liu Qian's interview on "Luo Yonghao's Crossroads"!
We're all actually searching for things that aren't boring, looking for truly valuable and meaningful content.
Liu Qian is not only sharing his magical life journey, but also deconstructing everyone's careers and life paths.
Ever since I became "aware," I've been constantly trying to seek advice from successful elders in my family or excellent teachers.
I hoped they would share their life experiences, help me avoid detours, or help me understand the world through their experiences.
I've always cherished these opportunities gr

Venus wasn't hacked, but it suffered million-level bad debts!
The basic logic: The attacker accumulated a large amount of THE, collateralized THE at a high price on Venus to borrow Cake, then dumped both THE and CAKE, ultimately causing bad debts for Venus.
As for whether the attacker actually made money, I don't know—it's too difficult to calculate.
I'll wait for other professional experts to post detailed analysis!
As for my personal review, two points:
1/ A bit worried about lending and yield farming in a bear market;
2/ Didn't act in time, only picked up scraps.
Reminder: The above is mere

A whale suffered a devastating 99.9%+ loss due to slippage on AAVE.
Woke up and saw this news—honestly left speechless.
As a DeFi enthusiast who operates on-chain frequently, this is something to be careful about.
I'm sharing this both as a reminder to myself and to everyone:
Every time you click the confirmation button, you need to be extra careful. It's not just about the signature itself—verify liquidity is sufficient and parameters are normal, triple-check everything.
After all, most of the time, an on-chain mistake is just one click away, but the losses that result are basically irreversi

SUI has also launched its own stablecoin USDSUI.
Currently, Cetus has already launched the USDSUI-USDC pool.
Including incentives, the annualized return is 14.97%.
To be honest, the APR is decent, but it seems that little partners are not very interested.
After all, Sui had many issues last year, including thefts and various liquidation and hedging incidents.
For me, because Sui was hacked and I lost a few thousand U, I decided to fully withdraw on-chain funds, which helped me avoid subsequent DeFi crashes and the 10.11 incident, so it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Good news: The USDD subsidy campaign has been extended for another period!
Bad news: Every time the extension is announced the day before, the base annual rate decreases the next day~

Stablecoin annualized yield of 49% mining~
The entry is as follows (image) 👇
Hydration → LIQUIDITY → HOLLAR Mining Pool
Note: Although HOLLAR is a native decentralized stablecoin launched by Hydration, it is not recommended to exchange directly to participate.
The reason, those who understand know, hehehe~
Therefore, you can participate through borrowing on the Hydration official website's BORROW section.
Of course, if you use borrowing, considering the collateral rate discount, the annualized yield definitely won't reach 49%.
But for stablecoins, it's still a pretty good mining opportunity.

Preparation still needs to be done in advance~
At noon, a team member discovered an anomaly with the Jellyjelly contract on Aster.
The contract price was significantly higher than the spot price, and the funding rate was still positive.
In other words, as long as you buy the spot + open a short position on Aster contracts, the arbitrage spread will revert,
allowing you to earn both the price difference and the funding fee, achieving "both eat and take."
But the window is very short, and during the process of depositing funds, the arbitrage opportunity has already shrunk significantly.

Does FDUSD have any insider information?
First, FDUSD suddenly surged to 1.0029.
Then, some friends noticed someone borrowing at high interest rates on Venus.
The borrowing might be for arbitrage: borrow FDUSD → sell it → wait for a dip to buy back and repay.
So, the question is: what is the real reason behind this FDUSD surge?
Could it really be, as some friends said, that the crypto market has started to hype stablecoins?
Got it, this is a stablecoin bull market, hahaha~

For projects that airdrop at TGE (S1), 99.99% of them do not airdrop again after TGE (S2...). Only 0.01% will airdrop again.
Do you trust the project team like Qin Shi Huang, or do you trust S2 to airdrop again?

An arbitrage opportunity with a 32% annualized return~
0/ Borrow DOT;
1/ Go to Hydration to buy vDOT;
2/ Redeem on Bifrost.
As shown, 10,000 DOT come in, 10,246 DOT go out.
The maximum wait time is 28 days, and it is already in the queue.
If the wait time is less than 28 days, for example 14 days, then the annualized rate is 64%.
It seems Bifrost has stopped vDOT Minting today, 🤔

A painful lesson, another group member has been robbed, this time of 100,000 USDT!!!
Group members didn't go online during the New Year holiday, and today when they opened their wallets, they suddenly found the funds were gone.
Everyone must pay close attention to position management and wallet security.
Here are some suggestions:
0/ Store mnemonic phrases separately, do not copy or take photos;
1/ Use small fund wallets for airdrops combined with plugin hot wallets for convenient interactions, and avoid overnight large funds;
2/ For large amounts with frequent interactions, use wallets withou

Ton Wallet has launched a USDT wealth management product with an annualized return of 17.98%~
It does look quite attractive.
But those who want to invest should be cautious.
The reasons are as follows:
1/ The protocol states that withdrawal requires 14 days or even longer;
2/ The strategy provider Re7 Labs has a questionable history, such as the XUSD crash in November last year.
