Recently, I've heard many people say that Github Copilot is really awesome and powerful.
To make sure I didn't miss out on anything, I spent a whole day today reviewing the documentation.
It really makes it easier and faster to realize your ideas.
I looked through everything from auto-completion, agents, automatic planning, to Copilot's background execution—it's indeed impressive.

Today my wife forgot her computer password, and I thought it was impossible to recover, but it turned out that when I called Apple support, they said you can hold Command+R during startup to enter recovery mode and change the computer password without any verification.
Wow, this computer password is basically useless then.
I just asked AI and only then found out that to actually secure the computer, you need to turn on FileVault and enable disk encryption features. That was eye-opening.

Preparing for the New Year trip to Egypt, I thought about directly spending the USD on my HSBC card. I mindlessly booked hotels for a few days of the trip, then compared hotel and flight prices on Booking and Ctrip, and I realized that spending still has to be done domestically. Domestic apps for food, drinks, accommodation, and transportation are incredibly cheap—ordering from abroad is a huge loss.
