According to ChainCatcher news and DL News reports, Hashdex's Chief Investment Officer Samir Kerbage believes that the price of Ethereum is expected to break through $10,000. He pointed out that stake, tokenization, and intergenerational wealth transfer are the three main factors driving the rise in Ethereum's price.
Staking: Ethereum's staking model provides investors with yield-bearing assets, with approximately 36 million Ether currently staked, accounting for nearly one-third of the total supply of the network, and the average staking yield is 2.9%.
Tokenization: The tokenization of real-world assets on Ethereum has exceeded expectations, growing from $5 billion in 2022 to $24 billion by mid-2025. JPMorgan predicts that the market will reach $16 trillion within the next 5 to 15 years.
Intergenerational wealth transfer: Over 50% of Generation Z owns cryptocurrency, and it is expected that in the next 20 years, $100 trillion will be transferred from the older generation to the younger generation, which will drive demand for Ethereum.
Kerbage believes that with the implementation of stablecoin solutions in U.S. payments, the price of Ethereum is expected to exceed $10,000.
