FTX has completed the payment of 7.1 billion USD to creditors, preparing for the next round in January 2026.
The creditor representative of FTX, Mr. Sunil, confirmed that the cryptocurrency exchange has completed three major disbursements totaling approximately 7.1 billion USD. The first disbursement was worth 454 million USD on February 18, followed by 5 billion USD on May 30 and 1.6 billion USD on September 30. The total assets of FTX are currently estimated to be around 16–17 billion USD, including recovered amounts and liquidated assets.
The next payout is expected to take place in January 2026, after the record date is confirmed in December 2025. These payments mark a significant step in FTX's efforts to compensate creditors and restore confidence following the collapse in 2022.
