NVIDIA CFO: No final protocol reached with OpenAI.
Golden Finance reports that Nvidia's CFO stated that a final protocol has not yet been reached with OpenAI. By 2026, Nvidia's total orders for the Blackwell and Rubin AI chips reach $500 billion, but this “does not include any work currently underway in the next phase under our protocol with OpenAI.” Most of Nvidia's newly dumped AI chips are currently used to expand data centers rather than replace existing equipment.
