Abbas calls on the United Nations resolution to force Israel to allow him to visit Gaza
According to the Israeli newspaper, Palestinian President Abbas called on the United Nations to pass a resolution forcing Israel to allow him to visit Gaza. Abbas announced last month during a speech to the Turkish parliament that he intended to visit the war-torn Gaza Strip. He later claimed that the Israeli authorities had banned him from entering the coastal enclave. Abbas said he welcomed world leaders to join his visit so that everyone could see the tragedy that is unfolding.
