On March 19, Jin Shi Data reported that members of the Serbian National Assembly voted on the remaining 12 items from the total of 70 agenda items for the first meeting of this spring session. Among them, the parliament officially confirmed the resignation of Prime Minister Vucic. Vucic submitted an irrevocable resignation letter on January 28. With the parliament confirming the Prime Minister’s resignation, the current government enters a “caretaker government” status and initiates the statutory process of forming a new government within 30 days. If a new government cannot be elected within 30 days, Serbia will hold new parliamentary elections.
