Simply put, X is building a system called “Smart Cashtags.” Once this feature launches, when users post updates about a certain cryptocurrency or smart contract on X, they can directly specify the specific asset. When others see these tags and click on them, they can see the real-time price trends of that asset in real time, and also access all relevant information mentioning this asset — essentially integrating financial news, market data, and community discussions into one entry point.

Nikita Bier emphasized that X has become the main channel for obtaining financial information. The launch of this new feature means that while users browse information, they can more efficiently obtain price data, breaking through the information barrier between social discussions and market data.

Currently this feature is still in the polishing stage, and the team plans to continue iterating and optimizing before official launch, while actively collecting community feedback. According to the plan, the new version should be released around next month.
