Firo is a privacy-preserving cryptocurrency and ecosystem. Through the Lelantus protocol, users can burn coins to destroy them, thus preventing them from existing, and later redeem them for coins with no previous transaction history. This process of burning and redeeming breaks the links between addresses, making transaction graph analysis much harder.
