13 rETH-Related Wallets Compromised on June 5, Resulting in $4.5M Loss

According to on-chain data monitoring firm Specter, 13 dormant wallets belonging to an rETH holder were compromised on June 5, resulting in approximately $4.5 million in losses. The victim detected the anomaly in time and successfully transferred approximately $4.7 million in remaining assets before the attackers could execute further operations. The affected wallets had been inactive for an extended period, making them targets for exploitation. The stolen funds are currently undergoing laundering.
